07 de dezembro, em São Paulo – Citibank Hall
A lendária banda de reggae, The Wailers está de volta ao Brasil com seu som revolucionário para alegria de seus fãs.
Liderados pelo famoso baixista e fundador Aston “Familyman” Barrett, que junto dos guitarristas Junior Marvin e Donald Kinsey, continuam a fazer história e mantendo música viva. Os shows acontecerão no Rio de Janeiro, dia 06 de dezembro, no Km de Vantagens Hall e em São Paulo, dia 07 de dezembro, no Citibank Hall. Os shows contarão com a abertura de uma das principais referências do reggae no Brasil, o Ponto de Equilíbrio.
Em São Paulo, clientes dos cartões Citi e Diners Club tiveram pré-venda exclusiva entre os dias 08 e 10 de agosto. A venda para o público geral do Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo começou no dia 11 de agosto pela internet (http://www.ticketsforfun.com.br/); nos pontos de venda espalhados pelo Brasil e nas bilheterias oficiais (sem taxa de conveniência – Km de Vantagens Hall RJ, no Rio de Janeiro; Citibank Hall, em São Paulo). As informações sobre o preço dos ingressos serão divulgadas em breve. A turnê é realizada pela TIME FOR FUN.
De 1973 a 1980, Bob Marley & The Wailers gravaram, fizeram turnês e se apresentaram para milhões de fãs em todo o mundo. Desde 1981, Familyman e Junior continuaram a missão de “manter os Wailers juntos”, assim como Bob pediu: “Ao fazer isso, você me mantém vivo através da música”.
Em homenagem ao falecido co-fundador e baterista Carlton “Carly” Barrett, The Wailers apresenta agora Aston Barrett, Jr. na bateria. É surpreendente como a potência do jovem músico se apresenta com inspiração ao estilo histórico de seu tio. O vocalista Joshua David Barrett é um “Rastaman” por estilo de vida e cultura.
