A Cia Estável de Teatro faz duas sessões do espetáculo Patética, nos dias 17 e 18 de março, sábado e domingo, às 19h, noArsenal da Esperança, Rua Dr. Almeida Lima, 900, Mooca. As apresentações integram o projeto contemplado pelo Proac de circulação de Artes Cênicas Para Rua, que prevê 12 apresentações da peça, em 9 cidades do estado de São Paulo. Os ingressos são gratuitos.
Patética reflete sobre as circunstâncias e o assassinato do jornalista e dramaturgo Vladimir Herzog (1937-1975), morto nos porões do DOI-Codi (Destacamento de Operações de Informações/Centro de Operações de Defesa Interna), em outubro de 1975. O texto foi escrito um ano depois do seu falecimento, por seu cunhado e, também dramaturgo, João Ribeiro Chaves Neto.
Com direção de Nei Gomes, a montagem usa o metateatro para mostrar uma trupe de artistas circenses que apresenta pela primeira e última vez a história da personagem Glauco Horowitz. A peça conta a vida de Herzog desde a imigração dos pais para o Brasil, passando pela militância, prisão, depoimentos no DOI-Codi, até a morte e a luta da família para provar que ele não cometeu suicídio, mas foi assassinado. Ao discutir a censura, a própria peça é proibida e o circo é fechado.
Patética converge com a pesquisa estética e o posicionamento politico do grupo, desde as relações do modo de organização circense até os processos vivenciados pela modificação do espaço urbano ocasionados por interesses políticos. “Essa circulação tem o objetivo de ‘sentar praça’ e pensar a história do país por meio do encontro com diferentes públicos usando o circo como metáfora, assim como em outros trabalhos do repertório do grupo”, fala o diretor Nei Gomes.
Desde 2005 a Cia Estável de Teatro realiza residência artística numa casa de acolhida temporária para 1.500 homens em situação de rua, o Arsenal da Esperança, localizado na Zona Leste de São Paulo. Uma das bases de sua criação é a relação com o entorno, estabelecendo um ambiente vivo e de troca para criação artística com os espaços e a população onde está inserida.
Os acolhidos da casa participaram ativamente do processo de criação do grupo, acompanhando ensaios, assistindo a chegada de cada elemento novo na produção, vendo o “circo sem teto” se erguer dia a dia. A realidade nômade e precária desses homens se aproxima ao circo de pano de roda de Patética. O Arsenal da Esperança então é o ponto de partida para a circulação proposta e as apresentações são abertas aos acolhidos e ao público em geral.
Marco na história
Na noite do dia 24 de outubro de 1975, o jornalista apresentou-se na sede do DOI-Codi, em São Paulo, para prestar esclarecimentos sobre suas ligações com o PCB (Partido Comunista Brasileiro). No dia seguinte, foi morto aos 38 anos. Segundo a versão oficial, ele teria se enforcado com o cinto do macacão de presidiário. Porém, de acordo com os testemunhos de jornalistas presos na mesma época, Vladimir foi assassinado sob torturas. A morte de Herzog foi um marco na ditadura militar (1964-1985). O triste episódio paralisou as redações de todos os jornais, rádios, televisões e revistas de São Paulo.
Além de se constituir numa denúncia da tortura no Brasil, a peça dialoga com questões estéticas da dramaturgia contemporânea. Teve uma trajetória conturbada durante a ditadura militar: o texto foi premiado, a premiação foi suspensa, foi confiscado, depois vetado, só liberado em 1979, e não pôde usufruir dos prêmios (do valor em dinheiro, da montagem do espetáculo nem da publicação do texto).
Patética, da Cia Estável estreou em junho de 2017 no Teatro Flávio Império. Depois cumpriu duas temporadas no Arsenal da Esperança e na Oficina Cultural Oswald de Andrade, integrou a programação da Mostra da EAC em Santos e a Mostra de Teatro de Fortaleza.
Sobre a Cia Estável de Teatro
Com 15 anos de trajetória o grupo formado na escola de teatro da Fundação das Artes de São Caetano do Sul foi contemplado em 6 edições da Lei de Fomento ao Teatro para a cidade de São Paulo. O coletivo tem como premissa de sua pesquisa a criação em conjunto com a comunidade onde está inserida. O primeiro projeto do grupo foi o Amigos da Multidão, realizado no teatro distrital Flávio Império, em Cangaíba, zona leste de SP, onde, por intermédio do edital de Ocupação dos Teatros Distritais em 2001, desenvolveu uma programação diária com oficinas, espetáculos artísticos, saraus e apresentações de peças de seu próprio repertório.
Dentre elas, o espetáculo Incrível Viagem, de Doc Comparato e direção de Renata Zanetha, que também foi apresentado no projeto Formação de Público da Secretaria Municipal de Cultura. Foram montados também os espetáculos Flávio Império, Uma Celebração da Vida, de Reinaldo Maia e direção de Renata Zanetha, e Quem Casa, Quer Casa, de Martins Penna, com direção de Nei Gomes.
Com O Auto do Circo (2004) de Luis Alberto de Abreu e direção de Renata Zhaneta, participaram do Festival de Teatro de Curitiba e Janeiro da Comédia, em São José do Rio Preto. A partir de 2006, a Cia. Estável de Teatro passou a fazer residência artística no Arsenal da Esperança, casa de acolhida que abriga 1.200 homens em situação de rua localizada ao lado do Museu do Imigrante, no bairro do Brás. Dentro do espaço, uma lona de circo foi armada servindo de picadeiro e lugar de convivência dos acolhidos.
No espetáculo Homem Cavalo & Sociedade Anônina, de 2008, o grupo aprofunda a pesquisa nas relações entre o modo de produção capitalista e a exploração do trabalho. Em 2009, o espetáculo foi convidado a participar do Festival Flaskô Fábrica de Cultura, do encontro estadual do MST em Itapeva, na Escola Nacional Florestan Fernandes e participa 5 Mostra de Teatro de Rua Lino Rojas.
Em 2011, o grupo comemorou 10 anos com uma mostra de seu repertório. Também lançou o livro Das Margens e Bordas – Relatos de Interlocução Teatral Cia Estável 10 Anos. Nele estão textos críticos produzidos por integrantes do grupo e colaboradores, o roteiro do espetáculoHomem Cavalo & Sociedade Anônina e extenso material iconográfico.
Em 2013 estreia A Exceção e a Regra, de Bertolt Brecht, com direção de Renata Zhaneta. A peça é apresentada dentro do Arsenal Da Esperança e circula por ruas e praças da cidade de São Paulo, participando da VII Mostra De Teatro De São Miguel Paulista, da I Mostra Pela Paz, da III Feira Teatro De Rua Em Sorocaba E Votorantim, do Festival De 10 Anos Da Flaskô e da Mostra De Teatro De Rua e De Floresta, no Acre, durante encontro da Rede Brasileira de Teatro de Rua.
