Sinopse – Francisco Camargo, da pequena cidade de Pirenópolis, no interior de Goiás, tinha um sonho: transformar seus filhos em cantores sertanejos. Sendo assim, ele resolve presentear seu filho mais velho, Mirosmar, com um acordeão no seu aniversário de 7 anos. A partir daí, Mirosmar e seu irmão Emival, que toca violão, começam a se apresentar e fazer sucesso nas festas da vila onde moram – Capela do Rio do Peixe, distrito de Pirenópolis. Inesperadamente, a perda da propriedade onde moravam nos anos 70, obrigou toda a família a se mudar para outra cidade, Goiânia.
Para conseguir algum dinheiro para ajudar em casa, Mirosmar e Emival começam então a se apresentar na rodoviária local, onde chamam muita atenção. E é lá que conhecem o empresário de duplas caipiras Miranda, que reconhece o potencial dos garotos e passa a viajar com a dupla fazendo shows. Os irmãos fazem muito sucesso por onde passam e chegam a cantar para seis mil pessoas em um de seus shows. Tragicamente, um acidente automobilístico encerra prematuramente a carreira da dupla, com o falecimento de Emival.
Depois de quase desistir da carreira artística, Mirosmar decide voltar a cantar, usando o nome artístico de Zezé Di Camargo. Ele grava um disco solo, mas não obtém sucesso. Já casado e com duas filhas pequenas, Zezé tem dificuldades em sustentar a família. Mas, de repente, tudo muda novamente em sua vida quando Zezé passa a se apresentar com seu irmão Welson, que adota o nome artístico de Luciano. E assim nasce a dupla sertaneja mais importante do país com uma bela história de garra e perseverança.
Zezé Di Camargo & Luciano – Mirosmar José de Camargo (nome artístico, Zezé Di Camargo) e Welson David de Camargo (nome artístico, Luciano), são naturais de Sítio Novo, distrito de Pirenópolis, no estado de Goiás. A dupla faz cerca de 120 shows por ano, com 30 mil pessoas em média por apresentação. Além disso, são mais de 40 milhões de cópias de CDs vendidas em 26 anos de carreira.
Em 19 de abril de 1991, Zezé Di Camargo & Luciano lançaram seu primeiro disco. Em dois meses, a música “É o Amor” alcançava o primeiro lugar nas rádios. Em seis meses, o CD de estreia dos cantores ganhava disco de platina duplo por 750 mil cópias. Em pouco mais de um ano, atingia a casa de 1 milhão de cópias.
A dupla já gravou com grandes artistas internacionais como Willie Nelson e Julio Iglesias. Atualmente a dupla lança seu novo projeto com músicas inéditas e registros de uma sessão de estúdio com convidados especiais chamado “Dois Tempos – Parte 2”.
