As profissões na área da saúde costumam habitar o imaginário infantil. Para motivar ainda mais a admiração dos pequenos por essas carreiras, o Amil Resgate Saúde e o grupo médico-hospitalar Americas Serviços Médicos participam da KidZania.
Na minicidade, localizada em um espaço de 8.500 m² no Shopping Eldorado, crianças e adolescentes de 4 a 14 anos têm a oportunidade de serem médicos, enfermeiros e especialistas em diagnóstico por um dia, participando de brincadeiras em ambientes que simulam um hospital e uma ambulância. As atividades desenvolvidas vão desde a simulação dos primeiros cuidados com recém-nascidos em um berçário, passando pela prática de exames de raios x, até a realização de um transplante em um centro cirúrgico. Já na brincadeira do chamado de emergência, crianças desempenhando o papel de socorristas se deslocam pela cidade cenográfica em uma miniambulância para chegar até o acidentado e prestar os primeiros socorros. O objetivo do projeto é promover a cidadania, ressaltando a importância de todas as profissões para a sociedade.
