Picapes Chevrolet
No próximo dia 6, a Chevrolet junto com os autores Rogério de Simone e Fábio C. Pagotto receberão o público para o lançamento do livro Picapes Chevrolet, obra que comemora o centenário da marca. O lançamento será, às 19h, na Livraria Cultura do Conjunto Nacional (Av. Paulista – SP).
O livro Picapes Chevrolet apresenta detalhes sobre as picapes da marca, símbolo de robustez, praticidade e confiança, que circularam no país desde a fundação da General Motors do Brasil até os dias de hoje. Embora a comercialização dos primeiros modelos seja da década de 1930, a primeira picape da marca foi desenvolvida em 1917, com o intuito de transportar peças na linha de montagem da fábrica.
A obra reuniu fotografias atuais e de época, retiradas do arquivo histórico da GMB, e depoimentos reais de proprietários apaixonados, tornando-se o primeiro registro da trajetória desses modelos no Brasil.

Fábio de C. Pagotto foi editor da revista Collector’s Magazine e sócio-fundador do Clube do Dodge, do Dodge’s Club e posteriormente do Chrysler Clube do Brasil.
José Rogério Lopes de Simone é apaixonado por automóveis desde criança. Criou e editou a revista Automóveis Históricos e é coordenador da coleção Clássicos do Brasil (Editora Alaúde), dedicada a preservar a memória dos modelos de automóveis que marcaram a história do país.
